With the size of our Festival and the many events taking place all weekend, there are always frequently asked questions that we thought we'd answer for you.

Will the Festival ever be cancelled due to weather or other reasons?
  • ​The Festival takes place rain or shine, it has never been cancelled due to weather.

What time does the Festival begin and end each day?
  • ​The Festival takes place the last full weekend in September (Friday, Saturday and Sunday).

  • Booths are open 7 am - 5 pm all three days, depending on weather and the size of the crowds.

When are Cranberry Marsh Tours?
  • We are offering Walking Marsh Tours at a cranberry marsh right here in  Warrens on Friday & Saturday - 8 am to 3 pm., and Sunday - 10 am to 12 pm.
  • Visit the Cranberry Display in the Tin Shed behind the Wisconsin Cranberry Discovery Center.

Will I be able to see cranberries being harvested?
  • Due to the volume of guests we have in Warrens for the Festival, over 145,000 people over the three-day weekend, we schedule the event ahead of the cranberry harvest.  

  • If you would like to experience a cranberry harvest, there is a Public Harvest Day in Warrens, held at the Wetherby Cranberry Company on Sat., October 5th - 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and Sun., Oct. 6th - 10 am - 2 pm. For more information, visit www.freshcranberries.com​

Do you have Handicapped Parking?
  • ​​Handicapped Parking is available on the grounds with a valid permit. When you arrive, parking personnel will direct you to the Handicapped Parking areas.

​

Do you offer shuttles from the parking lots?
  • The Festival offers free shuttle service from Birkholz Field, Jellystone Campground and McMullen Campground.  The shuttles run all three days from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

What cranberry products are available at the Festival?
  • There is a variety of cranberry items available at the Festival, including fresh fruit, juice, sweetened dried cranberries, honey, wine and much more.

  • There is also an assortment of official Festival souvenirs, including t-shirts, sweatshirts, buttons and cranberry gifts.  You can find these items and more at the official Warrens Cranberry Festival Souvenir Booth located at 402 Pine Street across from Queen of the Apostles Church.

Which day of the Warrens Cranberry Festival is the busiest?
  • In the past, Friday and Saturday have been our busiest days. Sunday is normally a little slower.

Is there a way I can avoid the crowds when parking?
  • The best way to avoid the crowds is to come early!  The Festival opens at 7:00 am all three days, and things are in full swing by 9:00 am. Be prepared to wait while you park.

​

Is there transportation around the Festival grounds?
  • Limited transportation is available on the Festival grounds due to the large crowds. There are some courtesy golf carts to transport guests and their packages, but be prepared to do a lot of walking. There are no scooter or wheelchair rentals on the grounds, at this time.

  • There are some seating areas in the Food Courts, but those are often crowded.  Visitors are encouraged to bring a folding chair to use.

What should I bring to the Festival?
  • The Festival is completely outdoors, so be sure to check the weather and dress accordingly.

  • Bring an umbrella or a poncho if it looks like rain.  

  • Dress in layers, it is often chilly in the morning hours.  

  • If you have trouble standing for long periods of time, bring a folding chair so you can rest.

  • Stop at the Main Information Booth on Main Street when you arrive to pick up a map that will help you find your way around the Festival.

  • Remember to wear comfortable shoes!

Can I bring pets to the Festival?
  • We love pets but prefer you be kind to your pets and leave them at home, due to weather and large crowds. Pets, service animals and any other types of animals must be continuously restrained so that they are under the immediate physical control of their escort at all times.

Do you have any other advice?
  • Plan a place to meet ahead of time if you get separated from your group. A good place to meet is the Post Office by the flag, across from the Main Information Booth.

  • The Main Information Booth on Main Street has a Public Address System, but personal announcements are not made.

  • Don't forget to ask for a business card, that way you can contact a vendor for that special item you saw at the Festival and place your order.
