Royalty Qualifications
Royalty contestants must live within approximately 25 miles of Warrens.
Queen contestants must be between the ages of 15 to 20, single, and remain so until one year after coronation. At the end of her reign, the Queen receives a Festival Scholarship.
Princess contestants must be between the ages of 12 to 14. One princess is chosen. At the end of their reign, the Princess receives a Festival Scholarship.
Jr. Miss contestants must be between the ages of 9 to 11. One Jr. Miss is chosen. At the end of their reign, the Jr. Miss receives a Festival Scholarship.
Candidates are judged based on an interview of personality, charm, poise, posture, grooming, past achievements and speaking ability.
Royalty Applications are available in August.
