SCARECROW CONTEST

• Scarecrow designs can be traditional, one that might watch over your garden, or be creative and design an unusual scarecrow. Use your imagination!

• Your scarecrow must be attached to a wooden stake or something that can be securely placed into the ground for displaying purposes. Scarecrows should be assembled and constructed to withstand the weather and natural elements to qualify for judging.

To enter:

• Please submit a description of your entry on the online form below.

• The contest committee reserves the right to not accept any scarecrow which they feel may be offensive to the  general public.

• Please call the Festival Office at 608-378-4200 if you have any questions.

• Please bring your scarecrow to the Festival Office, 402 Pine Street, Warrens, between the hours of 8:00am and 4:30pm - September 16-20.

• They will be placed outside within the Village of Warrens.

• Please do not drop them off without filling out an entry form.

• All entries must be received by 4:00pm, September 20th to qualify.

• Scarecrows may be picked up October 1 - 4. Please come to the Festival Office and we will direct you to your scarecrow. Any scarecrows not picked up by October 4, 2024, will be disposed of.

• Contest Committee and judges are responsible for all decisions. All decisions are final. 

• Prizes:

  • Ribbons will be awarded.

  • Best of Show receives $50.00

  • 1st receives $30

  • 2nd receives $20

• Sponsored by the Warrens Cranberry Festival.
